Armstrong Transmissions is currently looking for someone in the automotive repair field or has an automotive trade school diploma who would like a career in the transmission field. Responsibilities will include removing, rebuilding, and replacing automatic and standard transmissions. Applicant must have a strong interest in transmission work. Candidate must have a good ATTITUDE toward work and excellent rapport with customers, as well as having good communicative skills. Applicant must have a strong work ETHIC.

Those who apply must be able to perform work as outlined on repair orders and must have a valid driver’s license. Applicant must be at least a high school graduate, though automotive technical training is preferred. We are willing to train applicants who demonstrate the appropriate skills, attitude and willingness to learn the transmission trade. Employer is also willing to send applicant to technical classes that apply to the trade. Wage depends on experience and skill level.
